Eduard 1/72 Bf 109E-3 ‘Adlerangriff’

This model was built as part of the “Brushes only” groupbuild on Reddit. Originally, I got this limited edition model when it came out, but with everything I do… it took some time for me to finish it. As the name itself suggests, the goal of the groupbuild was to only use brushes to paint your kit. This is mostly because we are all too reliant on our airbrushes to help make the models for us.

I painted the model using AK’s 3rd generation paints. Before this model, I also airbrushed them and while their airbrushing quality is quite disappointing, they’re quite good when used with a normal brush and thinned with WATER. Don’t even think of thinning them with alcohol like any other water-based paint. If I had to rate them, they would get a 4/10 overall. The decals are the new Eduard ones, which I am not a fan of, but that’s quite subjective.
